July 18th, 2013 by lnetter
Gentlemen,  This weekend, July 20th & 21st, we will be at Grand Marais.  Regular tee time.

FLASHING NEWS:  The second round of the President’s Cup has been postponed until next Saturday.  For those that competed in round one (and won your match) I know you were just so anxious to get back out there and try do it again, however, keep that energy stored for next week and come out this week and try to whip somebody else.

See you Saturday.

What a Shot!

July 7th, 2013 by lnetter

Members,

At Grand Marais today, Jerry Cole made an eagle on Hole #15 !

He bombed a long drive just into the rough at the right edge of the fairway. From there, he hit a 125 yard shot into the hole in a front pin location.

Ask him about it !

Rick

Forward Tees

July 7th, 2013 by lnetter

 Members,

At the club meeting today, a motion was passed to allow all members who are 70 years old or older to play from the forward tees, if the member chooses to play there.

I have attached the newest handicaps for all active players and included both white and yellow tees at Grand Marais.

The members also voted, on recommendation of the Forward Tees Committee, to allow Jerry Cole to play from the forward tees, if  he chooses to do so.

Week End Update

June 13th, 2013 by lnetter

Gentlemen,

Saturday, June 15th, we will be at Timber Lakes. First tee time is 8:00 a.m. For directions go to http://www.timberlakegolfcourse.com/  Sunday play will be at Grand Marais. Regular tee time.

CORRECTION: Charlie Brown’s tournament is not June 22nd as I was led to believe. That is the date of the Lodge’s tournament and picnic. Charlie needs three players to make his foursome in their scramble. Anyone interested please let me know as soon as possible. I heard that their tournament willo be held in September. I will let you Know as soon as I get the particulars.

I won’t be there Saturday but I’ll see you Sunday. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY.
