PAR OR BETTER GOLF CLUB – ANNUAL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

The Par or Better Golf Organization is taking applications for its annual $1,000 College Scholar for the 2010 academic year. 

QUALFICATIONS:

• Must be a high school senior attending a college or university in the fall of 2010.
• Must be accepted into a two-year or four-year institution of higher education.
• Must have a High School grade point average of no less than 2.0

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Applicant must fill out the application form completely and sign.
• Applicant must provide a transcript and a copy of the letter of acceptance to the college or university they will be attending. 
• Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation – one from a teacher or counselor and one from a pastor, employer, community leader or family friend.
• Applicant must include a 200-400 word essay on the importance of receiving this scholarship with your anticipated major.

DEADLINE AND MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:

• The deadline for receipt of your application is July 15, 2010.  Mail your completed application with attachments to:  Mr. Craig V. Smith, President of Par or Better Golf Club

The Par or Better College Scholarship is a one year award and the award will be sent to the Winners College or University. The deadline for application is July 15th, 2010. The winner of the scholarship will be contacted by August 15, 2010.  The Par or Better Organization is a 5013c organization
